The master program offered is a research based program whereby the award of MSc degree upon completion of the research project carried out with close supervision by qualified academics. The faculty has qualified academics with diverse area of expertise such as energy, biotechnology, material and particle engineering, modeling and simulation, oil and gas engineering, environmental and safety engineering, and process engineering. They have chances to familiarize with current tools and technologies used by chemical engineers and researchers. Students are expected to defense their research proposal upon completing research methodology course. Students enrolling in this program have opportunity to advance their studies to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program through conversion process from MSc to PhD.

• Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.
• A candidate applying for admission into this programme is required to submit a research proposal to the faculty. The acceptance of a candidate shall be at the discretion of the UiTM Senate, whose decision shall be final
