• Accounting programme was first introduced at UiTMCT in July 1975, and the Diploma in Accountancy became the first with a group of 43 students. In January1997, the Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) programme was introduced. The Faculty of Accounting continued to grow with the offering of the Executive Master of Accountancy programme (full-time) and the Diploma in Accounting Information Systems programme in 2005.
  
  
• The programmes offered are always responsive to a constantly changing world. The curriculum of UiTMCT’s Faculty of Accounting is unique, transcending the boundaries of diverse and international knowledge. It prepares students with fundamental knowledge and various skills required for an accounting career, helping to ensure they secure employment upon completing their studies.
