Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik

FKE UiTMCT (Faculty of Electrical Engineering Terengganu Branch) was founded in 2001 and is the only engineering faculty at UiTM Terengganu Branch (UiTMCT). The establishment of the faculty is in accordance with the National Higher Education Strategic Planning (PSPTN) in terms of generating competent workforce in the scientific and technology disciplines. When FKE UiTMCT first opened its doors in 2001, there were just three lecturer and a supporting staff of 11 students enrolled in the Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) programme. At first, there were just two programmes available: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) EE111 and Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Systems) EE113. Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power) EE112 programme was then introduced in 2013. However, in 2018, Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Systems) programme was merged into the existing programme. FKE was renamed School of Electrical Engineering (PKE) in 2021 after being merged to the College of Engineering. Another programme, Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Technology (Electronic Intelligent Systems) With Honours, will be offered in 2024. There are now two diploma programmes available, namely Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) and Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power), as well as one bachelor's degree programme, Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Technology (Electronic Intelligent Systems) With Honours. PKE UiTMCT now employs 46 lecturers, 8 assistant engineers, and 1 assistant lecturer.

PEO1 – Demonstrate a broad level of knowledge, competency and practical skill including digital and numeracy skills in electronic engineering technology practices and related fields.

PEO2 – Demonstrate commitment to leadership qualities with good communication and teamwork skills in engineering technology practice within global context.

PEO3 – Demonstrate personal skills that emphasize flexibility and adaptability as well as lifelong learning and entrepreneurial mindset with ethics alongside professionalism for successful societal and career development.
